Our fingerprints don’t fade from the lives we touch

We all create our legacy every day.

It is in the values we hold dear. It is in the work we do in the world. It is in what we share with others.

The most marvellous thing? Every day you can add to your legacy—whether through talking with family about what is important to you, volunteering for your favourite cause, or through your day-to-day way of being in the world.

You don’t have to be wealthy to leave a legacy. Gifts of three, five or 10 per cent of what remains from your estate, after deducting all expenses and specific gifts to friends and family, can do so much.

In the pages of the supplement, you’ll find ideas from experts, stories from people like yourself, and some great organizations doing good work in the world. So please, after you’ve taken care of your loved ones, consider a charitable gift as part of your legacy.
